Our client wanted to extend their existing WooCommerce store with a rental system while efficiently managing inventory. We developed a custom WordPress plugin to meet these needs while adding several other useful features.
The plugin manages stock based on dates, giving a real-time view of available products. It allows quick filtering of product availability and generates financial reports. Email notifications are sent in case of shortages, and the system tracks potential conflicts for orders. It also monitors returning products that could help cover new rental orders, with detailed information for contacting the renter if needed.
